About Us
The Pre-school was opened in 1980, re-registered under the partnership of Audrey Evans and Sally Masterson in September 2008, and re-registered again under a new owner - Abi Kukoyi. We are situated in the large spacious hall in the Community Centre, with a large outdoor area. The community Centre is also the base for the Cedar Tree Children’s Centre. Woodhall farm Pre-school has serviced a lot of families in the area and will continue to do so. It is a well-established Pre-school with a vast age appropriate resources and activities for children between the aged 2years old till 5years old, these resources and activities engage and challenge each individual child to their full potential, we also have a large safe outdoor play area for use, which enhance free flow of indoor and outdoor play. Our staff are fully trained qualified with dedication and friendly manner to all children and parents/carers We pride ourselves on our partnership with parents/carers and we are a fully inclusive practice with excellent provision for children with special needs. We are an equal opportunities group which strives to fulfil the needs of every child and family. We have a dedicated, caring staff team who are continually training to update their knowledge and skills in child development. We promote parents in partnership, we feel that by working together we can learn more about your children and their interests, which in turn can give us an understanding of what motivates your child, how your child learns best and what we can do to extend that learning. The Pre-school offers a wrap-around.
Health & Safety
Our setting believes that the health and safety of children is of paramount importance. We make our setting a safe and healthy place for children, parents, staff, and volunteers.
We work with children, parents/carers, and the community to ensure the safety of children and to give them the absolute best start in life. The pre-school is committed to promoting of child abuse issues through training. It is also committed to empowering young children, promoting their right to be strong, resilient, and listened to. Staff Children ration are strongly adhered to as stated in the Early Years Framework. We seek information from the Health Protection Agency to ensure that we keep up to date with the latest recommendations. All our staffs are qualified paediatric first aiders and have safeguarding training.
